Power bands, which are used not only in professional athletic training but also by amateurs, who thanks to their use can effectively work on improving their strength, endurance and quality of movement, are one of the most popular equipment that allow you to plan effective training sessions for everyone and in all conditions.

Our bands were created in cooperation with Jakub Podgórski, who is the coach of motor preparation of Polish Futsal team and the creator of the popular in Poland concept of GT Training – the first in the world system of motor training. Cooperation with Kuba Podgórski allowed us to learn and respond to the needs of professional sport, by creating our innovative and extremely durable tiguar resistance power bands.

Versatility of resistance bands

Power bands can be used by anyone no matter how advanced is their training level. This is due to their simple use and the possibility to choose between four different levels of resistance, thanks to which everyone will be able to find power bands suitable for one’s needs.

Power bands are perfect for those who start their adventure with workouts, helping them learn to do exercises in a technically correct way and strengthen their whole body whereas for people who are advanced they can become a new, additional stimulus during training sessions. The use of resistance bands is a very effective way of strengthening, mobilization and shaping specific muscle groups.

Innovation of tiguar power bands

In order to increase the motivation of people who use power bands during workouts we have created an innovative system of marking their stretch.

Exercises with plum band, with the lowest degree of resistance, are equivalent to exercises with 8 kilos of load (depending on the degree of its stretch), or while exercising with the widest, grey power band, stretching it by 200%, the force you put in corresponds to 78 kilos!

Therefore, we’ve patented an unusual solution to enable you to work with resistance bands consciously. In that way you will be able to determine what weight you are exercising with at the moment in an easy way.

How does it work? There is a graphical system of marking the degree of resistance of the band on our power bands, which indicates how much force you need to put into its optimal stretching during exercise. And if you know exactly how much you lack – it will be easier to give even more of yourself.

By stretching the power band, you also stretch the rectangles which are printed on it. Once the rectangle becomes a square – you work out with the resistance that is indicated by the weight printed next to the rectangle. As simple as this!

Which power band will be right for you?

It is the most versatile band, which is great not only for pair workouts but also is appropriate for those who participate in GT training sessions.

heavy resistance

It is suitable for advanced athletes. Often used in GT strength training by women and by men as a scaled version of most GT programs, frequently in GT Mobility programs. This resistance band can be easily used as a help while learning how to pull up on a bar.

grey band
the heaviest resistance

It is designed for men and women who are advanced in strength training. It is also used as a counterbalance in dynamic and plyometric exercises. This resistance band can also be helpful in learning to pull up on a bar.

During use. In order to ensure the durability of your power bands avoid their prolonged exposure to sunlight and do not dry them on a radiator. Do not hook them on sharp edges and do not step on them with shoes. After use, it is good to wipe them with a cloth and hang them until they are dry in the right place. Important: power bands cannot be stretched beyond 300% of their entire length (resting length of the product x3).
